Poppins Millinery shoot

Here are some of my favourite shots from a recent shoot I worked on for new millinery brand Poppins
The shoot was at Fulham Palace and the team made the most of the beautiful winters day around the grounds of the Palace. Alicia Pollett was the photographer, and styling was by Ema Walsh-Woodhouse. I used Eylure lashes on the models, which complimented the elegant dresses perfectly. The full range of designs from Poppins can be seen here.

My work on London Fashion Week's website

I was thrilled to see an image from a Phannatiq shoot I worked on featured on the London Fashion Week website here. It was a great shoot, and an amazing collection, so it's nice to see the brand progressing so well! Make-up was all about smokey metallics, creating an edgy, gritty look to compliment the fabrics. Here are a few more pics from the shoot.

Playing with Urban Decay's Naked II

I have been experimenting with the colours and textures from the Urban Decay Naked II Palette. I love the shimmery tones and the double ended brush is great for blending. I ended up doing 4 different looks on my eyes, here are the results.

Recent Bridal Work

Two of the hairstyles I created for brides recently. Both brides wanted soft romantic 'hair up' styles, beautifully set off by pearl drop earrings (first picture) and freshly cut roses (second picture).

My Autumn brides heart Minerals

Over the summer, I've been introducing my brides to one of my favourite make-up brands, Bella Pierre. It's a brand I like to use when doing bridal make-up, and I'm always picking up new items for my kit. I'm going to be using Bella Pierre on my Autumn brides, who have loved the results of their make-up trials. Here's a list of the reasons I swear by it:

1. It's a perfect solution for sensitive skin, with natural ingredients
2. It's so light, people always tell me how it 'feels like I'm not even wearing make-up'
3. The foundations give a perfect, sheer coverage, while still looking natural on the skin
4. I often customise eyeshadow, blusher, lip, and even nail colours by mixing together the huge range of natural colour pigments - so my brides can have their own unique colour palette for their special day
5. The range of products also includes skincare. I love to use the cleanser and moisturiser - perfect prep for the foundations.

Vibrant make-up for Diva Dogs Day

Yesterday I drove out of London and into the Essex countryside to work at Diva Dogs Day, which will soon be featured on Channel 5. The make-up team prepared 4 models, using bright fuchsia tones teamed with high, tight pony tails and 50's inspired quiffs. Each model was given an adorable and immaculately dressed pup to present on the 'fashion dog-walk'.

Urban fashion shoot: Phannatiq

I recently worked on a look book for the uber cool, urban fashion label Phannatiq.
The dramatic shots really show off the incredible natural fabrics used by the designer Anna Skodbo.
For make-up that complimented the clothes, I used a combination of metallic eye-shadows in grey, navy, black and silver shades, dark contouring, and a nude, matt lip.

Beautiful cream blush from Liz Earle

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be part of Dani Guinsberg's make-up team for the Hemyca A/W show at London Fashion Week. The show was sponsored by Liz Earle and I have fallen in love with so many of her products. In particular, I adore the cream blushers, which come in compact little cases with handy interior mirrors. The colours are beautiful, buildable, and there's something to compliment every skin tone. I've also been using the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser which are so gentle and full of natural ingredients.
