Qetty Bang Bang vintage shoot
On one of the last days of Autumn, I drove out to the West of England to do hair and make-up for an amazing vintage boutique shoot. The boutique is called Qetty Bang Bang - and I wish I could own every single piece we shot. The shoot mainly featured elegant, tailored dresses and accessories which suited the location perfectly; a grand country house with pretty, landscaped gardens.
I did 3 hair styles on the day, starting with finger waves, then onto a loose, mid-height bun with a centre parting. Finally, a deconstructed quiff and bun for the more gothic style dresses.
I created 2 make-up looks, firstly a red lip and Nars blue tone eyeshadows with subtle black flicks. I then developed the look into a grey smokey eye with enhanced flicks and a dark plum lip.

Reveal Magazine Awards
A couple of weeks ago, I was on the make-up team for the Reveal click2Buy Awards. The look was vintage-inspired 50's, with eyeliner flicks, long lashes and red lips. Check out the finished look on the models http://www.reveal.co.uk/miss-mode-fashion-beauty/news/a434131/reveals-click-to-buy-awards-behind-the-scenes.html

My Autumn brides heart Minerals
Over the summer, I've been introducing my brides to one of my favourite make-up brands, Bella Pierre. It's a brand I like to use when doing bridal make-up, and I'm always picking up new items for my kit. I'm going to be using Bella Pierre on my Autumn brides, who have loved the results of their make-up trials. Here's a list of the reasons I swear by it:
1. It's a perfect solution for sensitive skin, with natural ingredients
2. It's so light, people always tell me how it 'feels like I'm not even wearing make-up'
3. The foundations give a perfect, sheer coverage, while still looking natural on the skin
4. I often customise eyeshadow, blusher, lip, and even nail colours by mixing together the huge range of natural colour pigments - so my brides can have their own unique colour palette for their special day
5. The range of products also includes skincare. I love to use the cleanser and moisturiser - perfect prep for the foundations.

Vibrant make-up for Diva Dogs Day
Yesterday I drove out of London and into the Essex countryside to work at Diva Dogs Day, which will soon be featured on Channel 5. The make-up team prepared 4 models, using bright fuchsia tones teamed with high, tight pony tails and 50's inspired quiffs. Each model was given an adorable and immaculately dressed pup to present on the 'fashion dog-walk'.

Urban fashion shoot: Phannatiq
I recently worked on a look book for the uber cool, urban fashion label Phannatiq.
The dramatic shots really show off the incredible natural fabrics used by the designer Anna Skodbo.
For make-up that complimented the clothes, I used a combination of metallic eye-shadows in grey, navy, black and silver shades, dark contouring, and a nude, matt lip.
